National Freedom Front (NFF) Leader Wimal Weerawansa yesterday said former Army Chief General Sarath Fonseka was not unwise to contest as the common candidate at the upcoming presidential election.
Responding to a query by the media Mr. Weerawansa however said the Southern Provincial Council results indicated a red signal to the government since it had several weaknesses.
