So as you say killing the terrorist top brass being the war crime is supposedly the "war crime" which is portrayed by the govt but it isn't. The alleged crime is the mass grave....  SF takes total responsibility for the army and his commands but won't and shouldn't defend anyone who bypassed chain of command. So if Gotabaya says nothing to worry then he shouldn't but obviously there is a strong link to the alleged killing of civilians and mass grave. If such a thing happened then it should be investigated. SF has repeatedly said under his command no such thing happened. It takes courage to say I take responsibility for his troops but it's cowardly to shout at a reporter and literally tell them to piss off.</blockquote>
