වස‍රේ දැකිය හැකි ඉතා වැදගත් උල්කා වර්ශාවක් වන ජෙමිනිඩ්ස් උල්කා වර්ශාව පැයකට උල්කා 60 ක් දැකිය හැකි අතර. බොහෝවිට ඉතා දීප්තිමත් සූදු වර්ණයෙන් යුත් උල්කා දැකිය හැකිය. මෙ හි ඇති විශේෂත්යට වන්නේ නොවැම්බර් මාසයේ ඇතිවන ලියොනිඩ්ස් උල්කා වර්ශාවට පසු දෙවන ස්ථානයේ සිටින්නේ ජෙමිනිඩ්ස් උල්කා වර්ශාවයි. වැඩිම ක්‍රියාකාරිත්වයක් දෙසැම්බර් 13 සහ 14 දිනයන් හි දැකිය හැකි අතර දෙසැම්බර් 6 සිට 19 දක්වා මෙම උල්කා වර්ශාව දර්ශණය වේ.​

GRO J1655-40 ලෙස හඳුන්වන වස්තුව විශේෂ උපකරණ භාවිතයෙන් නිරීක්ෂණය කරන විට එහි ආලෝකය තප්පරයකට 450 වාරයක් බැගින් අඩු වැඩි වන බව සොයාගැනිණි. තවද එහි මධ්‍යයේ ඇති නොපෙනෙන වස්තුවේ ස්කන්ධය ගණනය කළ විට පෙනී ගියේ එය අප සූර්යයා මෙන් හත් ගුණයක් ස්කන්ධයෙන් යුත් බවයි. ඒ අනුව මෙම නෙපෙනෙන වස්තුව කළු කුහරයකි. මෙම ඡායාරූපයේ දැක්වෙන්නෙ එම වස්තුව චිත්‍රශිල්පියෙකු දුටු ආකාරයයි.​
