Google offers search refinements
You can now set more specific filters when searching the web using Google, the company has announced.
Google is now offering you more options to narrow down your search including a specific date range, the company has announced.
You can also alter the types of site you are seeing and limit your search to pages you've visited before with the Search Options side panel.
"We're announcing nine new Search Options tools: past hour, specific date range, more shopping sites, fewer shopping sites, visited pages, not yet visited, books, blogs and news," said Nundu Janakiram, product manager at Google.
"These features have been rolling out gradually and will be available globally in English," Janakiram continued.
Google also introduced some real-time search features earlier this week, though only surfers in the US and Japan will be able to use them.
