this was predicted long time b4 man!! long time back.

i wud lyk to c da so called PATRIOTS comment on this thing coz by banning these divices sri lanka is not going ahead. we are ging backwards. WTF?? if we dont have access to technology then how da hell do u so called PATRIOTS think we can develop in this information age??

well ill tell u guys sumthing?? i wont be surprised if the following are banned within da next few yrs this government lasts.

1. telegrams( they will say ltte sending telegrams wit secrect codes as messages)
2. emails (they will say ltte is sending emails)
3. satalite (they will say ltte is using this to communicate)
4. airlines ( they will say ltte supporters are traveling abroad to collect money)
5. telephone ( they will say ltte is taking calls)
6. internet ( they will say ltte is using it)
7. computers (they will say ltte is using it too)
8. TV (they will say ppl watch tamil channels)
9. Radio (they will say ppl listen tamil radio)
10. vehicles (they will say ltte is sending vehicle bombs)
11. electrical appliences(will say ltte is using to make bombs)
13. bags (ltte is carrying bombs)
14. newspapers except da government one (they will say ltte news is comming)

WTF??? are we living in a democratic country r sum country rules by a set of monkeys?? jst coz ltte using stuff it doesnt mean da ppl cant use it??

da biggest terrorist attack in america was da 9/11 attack. did america ban airlines and mobile phones and restict internet and stuff?? no ryt? there is nothing lyk dat. then WTF does da SL government want to ban them. well according to wat i think da gvernment is scared dat all their wrong stuff will go out. i agree dat no person in da world is pure and crrect. we all do mistakes nd stuff.

if at all there is a solution to all this mess then there is only one way to obtain it. we all have to say GOD SAVE SRI LANKA!!!!

THE NEWS ON THIS LAW IS 100% TRUE. My friend Ravindra, the only other mobile blogger from Sri Lanka got his Nokia N78 resent by the customs last week. That is how we got confirmed of this law.
1. Sorry. You cannot buy an N96 here and you cannot order one from abroad too (my friend's package was sent on a courier)
2. Afaik, you do not have to hand over your N95 to anyone. The government says that they've blocked GPS to Sri Lanka. Which is impossible to the best of my knowledge as the satellites are situated thousands of kilometers above in the orbit.

It's true that my post count is much low, but it doesn't mean I registered on EK any recently.

Thats exaggeration machan. There are two sides to be considered. We can't just think only about our welfare.

I also don't appreciate this. But if this is an SLA request I 100% agree coz we just sitting here and typing but they are doing an extreme difficult task. So we must facilitate what our SLA need from us.
