Govt says 'NO' to Ranil's challenge

The government today turned down the UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe’s challenge for a public debate with President Mahinda Rajapaksa. “President Rajapaksa has more important work to do other than involving in useless debates,” Government Cabinet Spokesman Minister Anura Priyadharsana Yapa said.[/FONT]

There is no need for a public debate. Entire country know what happened after the CFA. As regards the economic crisis Ranil should know that the entire world is facing this crisis not only Sri Lanka.
