but there are no map servises in SL except dialog
now the support caske car audio setup
soon they will support phone 2

no map services for SL? Use google maps and feel the difference!

I dunno but what i heard is that it is disabled for Sri Lanka because of the situation that was there in Sri Lanka... (thats what i heard) but i have no idea how they would disable such a service only to a specific country... anyway another fact i know is of all the phones with GPS i have used, nothing seems to work :S

i dont think there are actually a-gps *assisted global positioning systems, even through google and other providers depend on sattelite link, they need to have a proper navigation software system which it lacks, so yes Gps is present, just not the assisted one, to travel and get your way around
