U r talking abt single GPU cards neh...??
so nvidia's best single GPU card is GTX285....4890 is ATI's one.....
But Competitor of HD 4890 is GTX 275....Both r having same speeds....
And GTX 275 is Expensive than 4890..... But when both cards go to high-resolution HD 4890 wins.... If u hav fully AMD based system go for 4890....
    Its worth...IMHO

HD 4890 bit equal to GTX 275 (But GTX 275 better than HD 4890). So Its Usless to Compare HD 4890 and GTX 285. :)
