He won best actor for that one.
His acting was flawless when he was young. Godfather 1 & 2, Dog Day Afternoon, Serpico were his best work.

over-rated ya coz they wanted this to be a commercial film.... popularity was more important ...
did u know dat this film has been watched in every single country by at least 5% of its population? even in Africa..I think....

Leo and Kates acting was flawless, but i think its more of a fad than a genuine movie, the story line was disarrayed, they were trying to achieve too much in too lil time and messed up the whole lot in my opinion

in Hollywood, Top Billing goes to the biggest star. Something that havent changed much to the present day.
Brando was the biggest name in Hollywood at the time so he got the top billing. Even in Apocalypse Now, Brando got top billing even though Kirk Douglas was the main actor.
