Dont get tangled in Races and Religions.. The land was first inhabited by Sinhalese, Buddhism came LATER.. MUCH LATER, Sinhalese have no right to put forward Buddhism in this WAR because if you look at it that way then Buddhists cannot wage WAR in the first place!

Besides.. if you are a TRUE Buddhist to the letter, then you would not be interested in any lands no matter how profitable it is.. because for a true Buddhist everything material is worthless, his ONLY concern would be to find a way out of the loop of birth-life-death!
