When it comes to hospitality and serving our guests, Islam teaches us not to be stingy and to never worry about an unexpected guest knocking on our doors.
The Prophet (pbuh) reminded us of this by saying: "The food of one is enough for two, the food of two is enough for four, and the food of four is enough for eight"
(Muslim 023:5109, narrated by Jabir b. 'Abdullah [ra])
