I use Acronis TrueImage Home 10. Works perfectly in Vista and even 64bit environment. Very stable. The only thing I'm not happy about it is the fact that it is not natively 64bit (not relevant to most people, but it could surely make me use a higher compression.SAN_APIIT said:Can anyone please tell me that what is the best software to get a image of a hard drive?

Another program like this is Symantec Backup Exec (formaerly known as Symantec Live State Recovery). I haven't used it and only now it supports Vista.
Norton Ghost, IMO, is too mediocre for the current technology.
You will find all the information you need from this screenshot.SAN_APIIT said:Thanks a lot Bro..........![]()
What version do u use in Acronis TrueImage, the latest version is i think 10, do u have a crack for it.....
Anusha said:Just found out Symantec Back Exec System Recovery supports x64. If this is natively 64bit, I might be moving to it

I don't have problems like that because I use private trackers. They don't display any inappropriate images.SAN_APIIT said:I'm not at home, will try to find one when i go home. it's not easy to open the torrent sites in public, u know what i mean right.....![]()

O&O is supposed to have a software called O&O DiskRecovery but it's not currently compatible with Vista. I like O&O because they almost always have a native 64bit software version of their popular products such as O&O Defrag, O&O Undelete etc.

I'm yet to confirm the native x64 support in Symantec BESR7. TrueImage works fine, just that I would like to use the maximum compression level and I think 64bit can achieve it without slowing down.

It will take a long timeSAN_APIIT said:Yes i'm using the x64 edition. yes i think so, if u try it please let me know the performance of it.
