I use Imation, Both for CD-R/RW and DVD-R/RW never encountered any problem with them..!!

I had some problems with Imation, some of their discs when it is written it is not possible to read, eventhough all the files are shown in explorer. Happend to few discs. Now I use Afa wrote about 100 discs and only 2-3 failed.

Hmm...strange! anyway I doubt some of those "Imation" are the original ones though! I even have disks that I wrote about 3 years + but still works OK! (even with bit of scratches!

But I used to buy some cheap brand called "Melody" to store all those movies, music etc. and after 2 years the disks kept peeling off!! So I stick to Imation.. no probs till now!

Anyway whatever works for you!! :)

May be they are fake, since they were very low priced. Anyway looks really like imation. With their embeded trademark and etc. A piece was about 40 rupees.

Maybe they have a different MID than the ones we find here. We get the ones made by CMC here.

If you don't mind, can you post the benchmark & quality test graphs of an Imation DVD from Nero CD DVD Speed? (@ 8X speed)
