Guys I will be updating this thread with some hard to find Documentries. Most of them Are in RS so download and watch. Reply to this thread if you like them.

This is a fairly short programme about Hitler but like the Idi Amin programme it packs a surprising amount of information into it. Again archive footage and photographs are well used along with interviews with those within & near his inner circle and those who suffered under his rule. We see a little of Hitlers strange personal life but it is mostly through his infamous deeds we see how he & his demonic fervour consumed first Germany then Europe with the atrocities of his rule escalating bit by gruesome bit in their savage depravity to their utterly horrific conclusion.
Warning - it does contain some graphic photos & scenes that may upset some viewers.

It contains some illuminating archive footage and interviews with those who personally knew the man as well as those who suffered under his regime in Uganda. Might interest those who saw the recent “The Last King of Scotland” film too.

In southern Russia at the turn of the last century Stalin excelled as a bank robber, agitator and sometime assassin. Forever in and out of jail the violence and paranoia which would mark him out in later years were already visible. After his brutal rise to power he embarked on his ruthless enforced collectivisation programmes and deliberate use of starvation, murder and labour camps to enforce his power and control over the population. We also see his response to the German occupation and his continued regime of terror after the Second World War.

On April 1st, 1994, Kurt Cobain jumped over the wall of the Exodus rehab centre in Los Angeles.
On April 8th, an electrician discovered his body in his Seattle home. During those seven days,
Kurt was officially listed as a missing person.

This documentary recounts the experiences of some of the people who crossed paths with Kurt during
his final days, such as Duff Mckagan, former bassist of Guns n’ Roses, who sat next to Kurt on the
flight back to Seattle. His drug counsellor, Nial Stimson, from the Exodus rehab centre, who talks
about Kurt’s denial of his heroin addiction. As well, we hear from some of the people who knew Kurt
best, such as his grandfather, Leland Cobain, ex-Nirvana drummer, Chad Channing and ex-girlfriend,
Tracy Marander.

This is a film about the generation of a myth and the deification of Kurt Cobain. About the eerie silence
that fell over Seattle in the days following his death, when his ghost wandered the city. Also of note,
the film does not pander to all those silly theories of a murder plot which have sprung up like weeds since
Kurt’s death.

They were regarded as the elite of the SS and were the perpetrators of the most diabolic crimes. They were completely subservient to Hitler and became the most willing tool for his genocide.

Following orders loyally and relentlessly, the Death’s Head battalions of the SS implemented the murderous deeds which the Fuhrer demanded of them. Their badge was the death’s head on the right collar-patch of their uniform.

Originally created as guards for the regime’s concentration camps, the special unit of the SS under SS Gruppenfuhrer Eicke was then deployed whenever particular cruelty and absolute devotion to duty were required.

The four standards of the Death’s Head SS, each of 9,000 men respectively, were responsible for the implementation of mass genocide in the Nazi extermination camps as well as for military actions characterized by incredible brutality.

The selection and training of the “party soldiers”, most of them very young men, were designed from the very beginning to purge them of human compassion and a capacity for independent thought.

Until the very end, the men with the death’s head emblem were deployed in the focal points of the war. Not until the 9th May 1945, in Vienna, did they surrender - when the “Thousand Year Reich”, for which they had fought tenaciously and without mercy, was in ruins.

The film shows how people, who were originally by no means of a particularly extreme disposition, were schooled to place themselves, body and soul, in the service of unimaginable barbarity - and how or if these atrocities weighed upon the consciences of these willing henchmen.
