HDTV & 8800GS Problem Help meeee Help

Machan I Have a Skyworth 32inch HD LED TV & I have a 8800GX XFX Alpha dog edition VGA in my PC.I want to connect the PC to HDTV.but my graphic card only has 2 DVI Ports and SVIDEO.But TV Doesn't have SVIDEO port.I connected PC to TV with a DVI to VGA adaptor via VGA Cable.But Now there are some horizontal lines on the TV.PICTURE IS weird.I don't have DVI to HDMI cable.can I get this to work with DVI to VGA Adaptor........

S-Video port has additional pins for HDTV. you must obtain that cable. it has HDTV outputs.

(this kind cable comes with VGA card)
