Pls upload your latest poi.gpi file as the previous download links are no more available on earth....! If not, pls send me a PM or an e-mail.

I also have more than 10000 poi collected, some of them are marked by me since 3 years with my Nuvi. SOme, I have collected from various resources. I have marked most of the traffic policemen's hiding places along Kandy -colombo road, and marked upto 98% of the pedestrian crossings on Colombo-Negambo, colombo- Kandy roads. They are about 10meter accuracy. I can give them to you too.. So pls send me your mail, then you can add them to your final poi file for the benefit of all Sri Lankans as well.

Nokia maps wala offline version ekek release kalaa den 1 year walata withara kalin. But , first, Nokia 5800 phone eke firmware eke upgrade kara ganna ona nokia OVI SUITE eke harahaa. Then it will upgrade the latest firmware to your phone.

After that, OVI SUITE eka harahaa nokia map upgrade karanna ona. Ethana option ekek enawa offline map select karala phone ekata "download" karanna. Mama singapore saha Sri Lanka map download kara gaththa. Map Dekama elatama weda. (Mama singapore walath test karala beluwa.) Namuth nokia map eke use karanna tikak trouble theyenawa. 5800 phone eke built in gps receiver eka activate wela satellite walata lock wenna tikak time yanawaa. samahara welaawata eke harima karadarayak. Samahara welaawata eka on wenna 2 minutes withare yannawa. Phone eke battery consumption eketh godaak wedei.

Garmin NUVI wage GPS ekek use karanawa nam harima pahasui. Power ON karala 20 seconds walin eke ready to navigate..! Built in battery eken 2 hours withara continuously use karanna puluwan. I have been using it since 3 years and give 100% marks to Garmin nuvi 205W.

Namuth Garmin walata Lankaawe updated rouable map ekek nethi nisa thamai prashe... The map I use is about 15 years old. Many roads have dead ends, and the device can't route properly some times. You can find that the bridge near the kelaniya temple across Kelani river is not in this map. That's how I used to identify the map whether it is new.

Mama last 3 years wala Lankaawe travel karapu roads wala tracks save karagena theyenawaa. Mama ewa garmin map eka udin lay karaka roads wala problems godaak correct kalaa. Namuth GPSMAPEDIT eken garmin IMG format ekata map export karanna difficulty ekek theyenawaa. mama langa theyena CGPSMAPPER software eken "polish format (.mp) map eka' IMG format ekata export wenna demmama 2 hours withara walin error ekek denawaa. 2GB RAM on my PC. I don't know why.

Guys, If any one of you have a good version of cgpsmapper, pls send it to me. I can export a good and corrected map to garmin IMG format for the benifit of all Sri Lankans..
