Help : Apple iPhone 3G Jailbreak

I jailbroke my iPhone 3G (8GB) using the following stuff.

Software : redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc8
Firmware : iPhone1,2_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.ipsw (from Apple)

All went well and I now have iOS 4.2.1 + Cydia installed. But still any of my SIM's don't seem to work. Signal bars are empty and there is no network name next to them I can't make calls.

I'm using Windows 7

What went wrong? Any ideas?

machan install cydia using GreenP0ison 1.0 RC5

if you have installed cydia then run it first the add
repo666.ultrasn0w.com to Cydia. (that last o is actually the number zero)

Search for “ultrasn0w” in cydia and install ultrasn0w

Reboot your iPhone 3G

and you are done

inatalled cydia using redsn0w machan. greenpoison didn't work it just put the phone in recovery mode.

machan I can't download the ultrasn0w app bcz I don't have a network connection (bcz da sim doesnt work)

BTW do I need to tick "iPad baseband" when flashing with redsn0w?

Ya, Connect it to Wifi and Install.

you have to install ultrasn0w using Wifi Connection.
i have unlocked 2 apple iPhones using my ADSL cuz i have Wifi Router
otherwise i dont know
