machan if you want to learn 'C' under linux then download knoppix live CD.
or backtrack 3 live CD.Backtrack 4 also oky.

and inside knoppix or backtrack you'll get other programming languages and other
tools like apache integrated , and other libraries like opengl.You won't need to
install them differently. Come to the linux world machan if you really wants to
be addicted to programming.
