Help from Matara

Hey !

I am suppose to goto Matara next weekend 19,20,21 for some work.

Actually have work only for 1 day and thought i would kick back and relax for the next two.

Can anyone from Matara tell me a good place for lodging.?? I am going there with my wife, so appreciate if it's a good place where we can be relaxed.

Not looking for something expensive, since we will be not spending time there, but only looking for the place to bunk up and sleep at night... will be out most of the day sightseeing.

Appreciate help with places, numbers and rates or either one of them please.

Seems like more are from Galle. Anyway I have been to Galle and stayed couple of times. Places have become expensive due to tourists and it was really difficult to find a decent place for reasonable price

Not many around to carry a conversation without crash-landing in the middle and either been branded a Pro/anti Mahinda OR facing a barrage of filth in epic proportions all written in BIG bold red rounded Sinhalese letters cursing me, my family & my entire existence as a human being.
