The thing with these overclocking boards is that they might not be as stable as Intel motherboards. I'm not saying they are NOT stable. But they can be unstable.chaminga_d said:

Thats where all the fun and hard work is.BTW I found that DFI , Foxconn ,ASUS and MSI are very stable @ OCing.OCers usually dont geton with gigabyte boards , dont knw why.Tomshardware hav MSI neo4 platinum or sumthing with Intel chipset that they say very stable at OCing.Overclockers.com members had some gr8 DFIs.Anusha said:

Intel 975 is old. 965 is newer, better, supports DDR2-800 (original 975X supports only up to 667). 680i is pathetic. Overclocks well, but at stock settings, it's slower than Intel chipsets and uses hell of a lot of more power. (680i chipset uses more power than my processor!!!! WTF!!!) 680i should be only considered if going for an SLI rig.chaminga_d said:
