A single dead pixel I could live with, but no matter what I did, color simply wouldn’t look realistic. Maybe it was a bad apple, cos when checked the same model at the store, it looked pretty good. Anywas I didnt want to take any chances so returned it  and got a Samsung.  Having said that, LG is not a bad brand at all. Best way to choose is by testing out both displays before buying.  But I don't think stores have display units of all the LCDs they sell.  That first LG I tried had few more options like an intelligent light sensor + few more color presets etc..And I think LG usually has few extra gimmicks, check the full spec and manual..  But then again they don’t matter much at the end.</blockquote>
