Help On NOKIA UPDATE

Guys I need some help...

i thought of updating My Nokia 6280 firmware via Nokia software updater..

the question i hav is its from UK & its was on 3 mobile

i have unlocked it IN SL is it OK to Update The firmware?..
Plzz Guyzz Help Me On This...

yep i think coz when we update windows when its cracked sometimes the crack gets patched ne? so i think its best that u dont update it

I think u will not have to unlock it again. Bcoz updating firmware will not lock the phone. The best person here to contact is charmer. he is the person. i think its better for u to wait until knowing it correctly.

coz 1 tym i had some probs and went to da 3 store.. dey told me to update da firmeware.. and da ph was lock 2 three...
so mama again danma math mage ph eka lock wela mai thibe..
i think again u will have 2 unlock..

machan i dont think it will get locked again coz i unlocked my n73 and upgraded it no probs..

Firmware upgrade can not relock the nokia device (all Nokia, Samsung, LG, Motorola).
but if you have a sony ericsson phone and you have done the patch unlock, you will need to unlock again after OS upgrade/downgrade/reflash.

there are too types of unlock for sony ericsson phones (permanent and temp)

but nokia phones, once you have enter the unlock codes/ or unlocked by software, it is unlocked permanently. you can upgrade the firmware version to the highest. you must goto the same place where you unlocked the phone for the firmware upgrades as they have this nokia service hardware box (JAF, MT-BOX) to upgrade the software safely. you are runing a gr8 risk if you try to flash it online/alone
