Download the latest trial version of Kaspersky or any other AV then make sure its up to date, reboot your PC, while rebooting press F8 then select "safe mode", once you are in the Windows in Safe Mode, uninstall the old AV and install the new one!
Then do a scan and see whether it will detect anything or not!
Can you please explain a little more?
I downloaded yesterday Kaspersky by a link given to me, but i think it's an old version, because it says its obsolete.
What free version do I have to download of Kaspersky?!
U say to uninstall the old AVG virus that I use now? after i done the Windows
in Safe Mode???!
And then I have to download a new AVG one? and scan it again?
The pc is running normal, but this morning i got a warning again. The laptop isnt doing funny stuff like ysterday though...but still don't trust it.
