HELP PLEASE

    Hey guys when ever i shut down my computer it restarts.I am using Vista and have never had this problem before.:angry:

    Go into the bios (set up) and make sure the tick for WOL (wake on LAN) is set to disable
    Also look for the "start" on LAN or INFR setting to make them disabled.
    You might also do this: but this is not always available on all machines...
    Enable Advanced Power Management support
    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Power Options.
    Note If you are using Windows XP, click Switch to Classic View in Control Panel to more easily follow these steps.
    2. Click the APM tab.
    Note If you are using multiple monitors, the APM tab may not be available.
    3. Select Enable Advanced Power Management Support, and then click OK.

    Hey guys I finally managed to resolve the issue.It turns out that the the solution was much simpler than anticipated.The problem arose because I had pluged in my webcam and forgot to install it.:sorry: I installed the drivers for it and now my P.C shuts down with no no problems.;) Anyway a BIG THANKS to all you guys who helped me with this problem.
