guys .. i got this new ram 1GB kingston , 3000/=

here is 3 screen shots.. what is the actual ram size

Use vista......or reinstall XP......or select optimized defaults in bios......

Check your bus speed, and try changing the ram slot, because ifhalf of ur rambus is burnt this happens.
BTW what does ur BIOS show???
did u try disabling Quick POST test on BIOS so that it can completely check the whole ram???

do post a snapshot of ur motherboard tab as well

i got this ram just to install vista.. but the thing is vista needs minimum 512mb ram, vista setup is detecting less than 512 and wont allow to install..

Start->Run->"dxdiag" can also be used to find the ram size accurately. Seems to be something wrong with your os, may be coz of your CrystalXP Max OSX pack ???

Sory machan eye ape lab eka kalin wahuwa.
Knoppix wala wage balapan. Eka boot wena kota ram eka wada tika pennana wa. Thawa ubuntu wage linux cd wala ram check ekak enawa. Eken ram eka wadada kiyala 100% balanganna puluwan.
