Help to buy Lenovo Thinkpad

Dude, my company buys only high-end laptops (latest batch is T430), so our picks are always Lenovo i7 with above 12 GB RAM. Since we get with the full warrantee and highest specs, the price per piece is usually about 200,000.00. Lenovo is usually regarded as one of the best business machines with good durability and performance. You won't be able to get them cheap. So if your budget is very tight, think of other brands and models.

As I remember, that i3 was with SSD. So, the price is high. But at the moment, SSD is not very important for me comparing to the cost.

I'm planning to buy a laptop. Searching for a good place & price*. Although, it will also be used for personal purposes, mainly will be used for office work. Will have to work with virtualization. So, need some good performance. The followings are the important requirements which I'm looking for. & I prefer if I can go for these specs around 75 - 90. & like to know whether I can go for a better one within that budget.

Intel i3 (2nd/3rd generation)
8GB DDR3
15.6" Screen
Hard Drive 500GB or more (7200 RPM)

*Recently called Trident for an i3 with 8GB ram. The price was about 121000. I felt like it was a bit high. Of course that might be due their 3yrs warranty & things. But, I'm a bit confused. I read a lot of good comments about Metropolitan. But as I can see they mainly do Acer. I want to know whether they do Lenovo too. Anyone know anything about this place?. It's for work bro. I'll be working by next month, where one of my friends is already working. They use Lenovo ThinkPad. Because, they are durable & meet their requirements. ThinkPad models aimed at high performance to aid business purposes. Hence, they usually come with good ram (yeah 8GB or more) & other configurations.

Authorized agents like Trident have them. I might buy from them because, as what I've realized after searching about laps since a month is that it's better to buy from an authorized agent.

There are laptop types for different purposes. Such as lightweight, everyday computing, entertainment/gaming & business, etc. They come designed & configured aimed at making the user's experience a better one. Ex: For gaming, it should have a good video memory & related stuff. But for a bussiness type laptop, it's not much important. But instead, it should be designed for performance, durability, safety & security.

If you are prepared to spend around 75-80. you can buy a laptop with a I5 3rd Gen processor + other things.Have a look at Unity plaza. Of course the service isn't exceptional but its not like metropolitan is giving a better service.

I personally don't recommend I3. I5 is a much better processor and there is a huge Performance difference when I3 is compared with I5. Price difference is negligible when considering the performance you get with a I5 Processor.

Sticking to Brand names is useless now a days as almost all the Computer related products come from china/Taiwan/Korea or Malaysia.unfortunately none of the countries are known for its product quality

Yeah true. But bro, Lenovo ThinkPad is famous for it's quality. Check Internet, Wikipedia, reviews. My friend asked me to buy a ThinkPad, since they're using them @ work.

I think that T420 comes with 14" screen. But I want 15.6". Anyway, I'm looking for a brand new one. Thanks bro
