Yes! VLC will do the job for u!

u can use windows media player/jet audio/vlc media player.............etc.
All those players have that option to increase/decrease brightness, contrast......etc
In Windows Media Player
go to

VIEW>ENHANCEMENTS>VIDEO SETTINGS
