Karzzzz (2008)

Plot:
Karzzzz is an upcoming 2008 Bollywood film, directed by Satish Kaushik. The film stars Himesh Reshammiya and Urmila Matondkar. The film is a remake of "Karz" which starred: Rishi Kapoor, Simi Garewal and Tina Munim. This film might be different than the old one. The film is planned to be released in October 2008. The plot could possibly be quite similar to Farah Khan's "Om Shanti Om", which was also based on Karz. Urmila Matondkar is all set to reprise the role of Kamini played by Simi Garewal in the original Karz. It is learnt that Urmilas Kamini will be more glamourous than the one we saw in the original. Urmila is all set to do a special dance number in the film called Tandoori Nights. Its not an item song but something more spectacular than that.​

Singh is Kinng (2008)

Plot:
Happy Singh lives in a small village in Punjab. He is always compassionate and helpful, but often ends up causing more damage so much so that the Village Panchayat gets together to reprimand him. When the community gets news that one of their residents, Lakhanpal Singh, is an underworld don in Australia, they decide to delegate someone to counsel him. The villagers chose Happy, so that they can get rid of him. Happy's ticket and other costs are paid for, and the Panchayat even asks a reluctant Rangeela to accompany him. Due to a mix-up, both end up in Egypt, leading to romance in Happy's life when he meets with Sonia, a Criminologist, who would prefer to have criminals killed than reform them. Both friends do find their way to Australia, where they locate Lakhanpal, who humiliates them and asks them to leave. Both befriend a boutique owner and live in her house. When rival goons attack Lakhanpal, Happy rescues him, and gets him hospitalized. Lakhanpal does recover, but is paralyzed. His goons comically misunderstand that he wants Happy to be Don, and he undergoes a transformation and moves in to live a wealthy lifestyle in Lakhanpal's mansion. When the boutique owner's daughter returns home along with her fiancé, Punit, Happy plans a charade to make her believe that the mansion belongs to her. Happy's life will soon be turned upside down when the daughter turns out to be none other than Sonia herself. Being aware of Sonia's dislike for criminals, he will have no option but to plan a lavish wedding for her, while rival gangsters, and even some of Lakhanpal's goons, plan to get rid of him.​

Plot:

Bombay to Bangkok (2008)

Plot:
Chef Shankar Bhatawdekar lives a middle-classed lifestyle in Mumbai along with his widowed mom. After an encounter with a gangster named Khan, who finds out that Shankar has stolen a valuable item that belonged to his son, Jamal, sends Shankar fleeing to Bangkok, Thailand, along with a team of medical professionals. He manages to conceal the item amongst medical supplies, and poses as a medical professional himself. He blunders his way as a medico, arousing suspicion, especially by Dr. Rati, compounded by the arrival of Khan's son, Jamal, and his romance with Jasmine, a volunteer and a part-time masseuse, She, too, is attracted to him - without knowing that this attraction will soon get her arrested by the Thai Police, leaving Shankar virtually between a rock and a hard place - he must now decide to return to India and be killed by Khan, or stay on in Bangkok and be arrested - this time for theft of medical supplies.​

Plot:
In 1998, rock music had a shot in the arm with the emergence of Grunge. The voice of teenage angst found an audience across the globe and rock music seemed like it was on the threshold of becoming the leader in mainstream music.

Magik was one such band that wished to ride this wave.

Aditya Shroff, a bohemian wild boy from Delhi who left the comforts of his parents home to chase his dream of becoming a singer in a rock band. He is the lead singer of Magik

Joe Masceranous, an Idealist. He hails from a family of failed musicians and hence feels the pressure of not succumbing to the legacy. A man of few words and lets his guitar do the talking. He is the lead guitarist of the band.

Kedar Zaveri, prefers to be known as KD Killer Drummer, On stage it may look like he is slamming those drums with a vengeance but actually, hes only just breathing. He is the heart of magik

Rob Nancy, the laid back quiet fence sitter of the band.. Just to experience the moment of his creation was to be in the presence of something truly ethereal.

This story about the 4 young friends who put together the greatest band this country had ever seen but never made it.

Years later fate conspires to bring them together again and sets them on a journey back to where they left off. A soul searching pilgrimage into their past.

Just like an old Indian saying, if one dies without fulfilling a cherished dream he will be re born to have another shot at it.

The 4 of them came from different walks of life but when they jammed together they were One.

If Aditya was the mind then Joe was the will, Kd the heart and Rob the soul
