With this change, Hive Free and Premium Plans will be phased out and replaced by a new, single and affordable Hive subscription service
The new Hive service will come with a 30-day free trial for new users that will subsequently convert to the now standard and permanent $3/month subscription plan.

Below are a few FAQs regarding the transition:
1) What does this mean if you are an existing Free user?
- You will receive an automatic notification that your trial has started. The trial for new service will be free for 30 days. During this time, you will be able to download all of your files if you do not wish to continue using Hive.
- Upon expiration of the 30-day period, all existing free accounts will be automatically deleted with no recovery option. If you wish to preserve your account, you will have the option to do so by subscribing to the new Hive plan.
- As a Hive Premium user, you will not see any changes to your service; however, keep in mind that upon cancellation of your Premium plan, the account will no longer change to the Free account, but will be automatically deleted. So, make sure you download files you want to preserve before canceling.
- New users can sign up and benefit from a 30-day free trial. This is only available to users that were not previously registered with Hive.
