I guess you have to be extremely careful in making payments online. Recently I had a nasty experience with BOC online banking system. I made a payment and it was duplicated. When I immediately requested for a reversal of the payment so duplicated, they just gave a wide berth to me and never replied to my frantic emails. Their software is faulty and their IT team, as it appears, are not so competent, as it goes with most of the government institutions. If somebody can recommend a bank with a good online service I will be most thankful.

i've used sampath vishwa for 1.5 years now and didn't face any big issue yet... only issue was that once a bill payment got delayed for a few weeks (hutch) but eventually it was executed properly... and now they have removed hutch bill payment facilities for some reason... other than that it was ok... i've paid phone bills, credit card bills, electricity bills and have made third party transfers to other banks and never had a problem so far....
