At the moment, a splitter used to connect to the Internet & connect the telephone to the SLT line. So, what if we use another splitter & connect it to the current splitter & use the new splitter to connect both desktop & laptop. Or replace the current splitter with a new one which has three sockets & connect it to the wall.
