One day Senaka invited his mother over to dinner. During the meal his mother couldn't help noticing how attractive and shapely the new housemaid was. She started to wonder if there was more between Senaka and the housemaid than met her eye.

About a week later, the housemaid came to Senaka and said "ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the Polkatu handa. You don't suppose she took it, do you?" Senaka said "well, I doubt it, but I'll write her a letter just to be sure." So he sat down and wrote.



Dear Amma,


I'm not saying that you took the Polkatu handa from my house, and I'm not saying you didn't take the Polkatu handa, but the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.

Several days later, Senaka received a letter from his mother, which said,


Dear Putha,


I'm not saying that you do sleep with your housemaid, and I'm not saying that you do not sleep with your housemaid, but the fact remains that if she were sleeping in her own bed, she would have found the Polkatu handa under her pillow, by now.

When I was a practicing lawyer, you guys won't believe the number of divorce cases came with the same senarios.

I have seen about 6 of those couples (actually wives) agreeing to keep the maid as the second wife of the Husband un-officially and continue living with them

and there were few cases where the Husband sued the WIFE (yes, in Sri Lanka) saying that

1. Wife was pushing him to have sex with the maid and suggesting a Threesom relationship

2. Wife was having a lesbian relationship with the maid wants the husband to join in for the fun

I KID YOU GUYS NOT !!!

Damn strange society we live in mates.
