First of all this forum rocks
!
In real life, we are encircled by just a few people for all practical reasons but EK is like a real society at finger tips. Most people here are really cool but just like in the real life, you occasionally find a few morons, who try to get at you personally. So again, it’s really cool to have this opportunity to express one’s feelings without being persecuted.
Now this is how I contributed to EK with my 1000 posts,
1) Actively campaigned for the private university concept, a real need of all youth
2) Made people aware about those good things, the present government has done, without any affiliation to politics. I like to see the country moving forward, without clinging into a buried past. That’s Aussie influence by the way
!
3) Provided general career and higher education advice to those who need.
4) Constructively criticized people’s good articles trying to add value.
Other than EK being a source of fun, I think the best advantage I got out of the forum is developing my journalism skills. I got the chance to put my writing skills into full use here and with that experience, I plan to move on to maybe submit a weekly article to a weekend newspaper in Sri Lanka but that’s just a thought.
So I thank GTRZ for maintaining this nice forum, wishing him lot of good karma! And thanks to the moderators for trying to keep the forum clean from abusive language.
Finally thanks to all those conscious people out there, who encourage me behind the scene, giving positive comments and reps!
Cheers
