Within 2 days, the student union of Kara medi faculty was able to collect a fund of Rs.6 lacks from the business men, in Karapitiya area and Galle town. With that money, they printed a poster for Pradeep.

When I was in med fac Colombo, we could not collect 6 lakhs for "Bloc celebrations" in 6 months

And, with the rest of the money, they purchased more than 500 Celltel, Mobitel and Hutch SIM's, just to send SMS to Pradeep.

Did 500 votes matter that much? Only one SIM can send one vote. Last time Malith got 21,000 odd and Ajith 27,000 odd. 500 is a only 1% from last times voters in the final

All the medical students working on internship at government hospitals

Only house officers work in hospitals. They work after graduation. The person knows nothing about Sri Lanka

Once, Pradeep was in the final, they urged every medical student, every nurse, every attendent, and most other university students, to vote Pradeep on that important night. Noitces were pasted on canteen notice boards of every university.

What is the problem with it? There wer posters urging people in Cilaw to vote for Surendra.

During the last week, the students of Kara faculty visited every Bio Science tution class in Matara, Tangalle, Galle and Kalutara in groups. They took 5 minutes each from every tution session, and made a speech urging "Pradeep to be the superstar". The emotional appeal was "You all are the future of Sri Lanka. You should vote some one educated, in your field of study".

Give us proof.

On Saturday, they got to know the SLT lines are available for voting. They quickly organized, to make sure every SLT phone in government hospitals were used for voting. People working at night shifts, made that possible.

You can't simply do it. Most phones work through a intra net and, you have to register all the calls you are taking. I challenge the person to inspect the logs and show this is correct

They were well organized, and they executed it to the point. And, they won.

If Chilaw buggers had organised it better, Surendra would have won. Why whine?

The medical students of Kara faculty, their parents, the hospital staff, A/L bio science students were the decider of Sirasa Superstar in Season 2

Aren't they a deciding factor of the whole country? They are such a big factor and a crappy competition like SSS is too little for that movement.

Finally Surendra Perera's supporters, you are eating sour grapes.
