Well it seem as most of thm are been discussed wht it is said on the video.
I really hope atleast ppl who won't watch the video will atleast read some of our posts

As I'm saying EK is a great place to get help but wht I am saying is tht u must have some kind of organized manner whn they r posting those stuff, in th way it can be convinent for the users n also it wud make the forum luks nicer too

Well from the balamu,tnx,nice type comments u can conclude they never read the posts or have a damn idea about where they are. I'm not critizising EK . .It's a nice place and can meet new friends and still the best place to hang around online.

Ya some threads are like yahoo messenger or WLM as u say. actually those chat programs will be better to start a conversation like those we find here ...it's quite hard to follow what each one is saying coz of the pace of posting. Simply forums and chat progs are made for different tasks.

The only thing wrong about that video is the interpretation of Godwin's Law but that's a minor issue.

I was really mad about the post count sometime back, you would have noticed that when i boosted ma self. Now when i think about it..I feel like i was a total jobless guy Thanks to god that atleast now i've realised it

Another thing is that i never posted to gain popularity in the forum, it was just the "competition" like, since earlier ive knew this, if not i wont get the same respect here even though i post very rarely in particular threads.

So even when i was in the so called "competition" i ve given the best i can to the forum so im really happy about it

So just as the video says at the end, be civilized and pleasant in the forum.

The post count doesnt give u Prestige or wateva...its just the "count"

So do something useful to the forum and get the appreciation for that without getting the "congrats" for ur "X"k posts.

One thing we should appreciate GT for is that he has not considered the Post Count in choosing the Member of the month. Appreciate it a lot

Yup exactly the thing i "tried" to put out. Ive tried ma best to stop these wrong doings, and there were some guys who actually realised it.

Have to say about the sad state of this forums . . it's just infected by ppl who just want to inrease their post count. but little they realize that prestige doesn't come from postcount but the content and the respect u command among other members.
Even on this thread the pathetic condition is bare naked for us to see. No constructive comments about the vid but just tnx or balamu.

IMO a forum is mostly composed of fanbois of a certain idealogy and this leads to flamewars . . but it generates enough drama for others to enjoy. Can see that trend here too but constructive discussions which is the main purpose of a forum is sadly absent
