1.Log into your Skype account as usual.
2.Navigate to "Subscription" settings.
3.Click on "Cancel subscription". Click "yes" and follow the prompts.
4.Don't use the account for 10 days. This will ensure that your public profile is erased - if you sign in before this, the system will remember you and your account might not be deleted.
5.If you have been automatically recharging your account, you will need to disable this too. Look for the payment settings, click on "View Settings", and click on "Disable auto-recharge".
