how to fix partition overlap, I m having with this problem. Windows xp can open that partition but vista can t boot & identify that partition.

Fix Partition over lap.
Fix partition over lap
You will need:
Acronis True Image Home V11
A HDD exactly the same size as the one with the over lap.
A bit of luck.
Plug Both HDD's into a machine, and boot of the acronis bootable disk.
Clone the HDD with the partition overlap to the other HDD (THIS WILL REMOVE ALL DATA ON THE 2ND HDD)
Then clone it back. Acronis seems to find the overlap and just resizes the partition by a cyclinder and resloves the problem.

PS. I'm not sure but Norton Ghost may also fix it the same way *shrugs*
