HACKING THE XP BOOT SCREEN

This is a very simple trick to do if you have done the same for the logon screen and the start button. There are 2 ways to do this trick that I know about one is doing it manually and the other is using a program called bootxp. I am going to tell you the manual way to do it, but if you want to know the other way just let me know, so I can do an update to the guide. Now once you have downloaded your ntoskrnl.exe file save it a general location so that you will have easy access to it, like my folder.

Once you have ntoskrnl.exe file in an easy access folder, restart your pc into safe mode. Once into safe mode go to the folder where your files are located.

Now that you are there copy the file that you want to change your boot screen too. Once you have copied that file, hit the window key + r or type %windir%\system32 in the run command, so that folder as follows.

Once there paste your new file into the folder and overwrite the existing folder.

Now that you have your new file in the folder restart your pc as you normally would and your new boot screen should appear. You can download this bootscreen here.

ALWAYS BACKUP EVERYTHING YOU EDIT OR DELETE. I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU MESS YOUR COMPUTER UP BY DOING THIS HACK OR ANY TYPE OF HACK. DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

StuCk In My AnGelZ HeArT!!!
u can do this easily with this utility .... nyway tnx bro..

Its the easiest method to change the boot screen and safe too (coz it adds an extra entry in Boot loader for the new boot screen and keep the default entry too)
So here we go step by step procedure:
1.) Open Tuneup Utilities 2006:

2.) Click on Tuneup Styler2:

3.) It’ll open a new windows, where u can change many things, like Icons, Login screen, Visual Styles and boot screen.
Click on “Change the windows XP boot screen, and create or download new boot screens“.

4.) It’ll open a new window, where you can add existing boot screens if you have stored on your computer or you can download from net:

5.) Or you can create new boot screens:

6.) To create new ones using stored images on your computer, click on “Search Local Drives” and give the path for the image.

7.) It’ll show the preview of the boot screen, you can select the Alignment of the image. It’ll also suggest you the background color, simply accept the suggestion:

8.) You can also select the Progress Bar Position:

9.) At last click on “Save Boot Screen” button:

10.) And give the name to your boot screen:

11.) You can see the preview of the boot screen by clicking on “Show Large Preview” or simply click on the image in Preview pane:

12.) And finally you’ll have your new boot screen:

13.) To set it as your Boot screen click on “Install Boot Screen” button:

Thats the whole procedure to change the Boot screen using this great software.
