How to Minimize Windows Live Messenger to System Tray in Windows 7~මම දන්නා~දේ~3
මේක නම් එච්චර ලොකු දෙයක් නෙමෙයි. මම හැම තැනම හොයපු දෙයක්. වින්ඩෝස් 7 පාවිච්චි කරණ ගොඩක් අය ඇති මෙතන. වින්ඩෝස් 7 වල තියන අනෙක් වින්ඩෝස් සංස්කරණ වල නැති ලොකු වෙනස් කමක් තමයි වින්ඩෝස් 7 වල තියන වෙනස් විදියේ ටාස්ක් බාර් එක. ඒකට කියනවා Super Taskbar කියලා. වින්ඩෝස් 7 එක්ක Live Messenger පාවිච්චි කරණ අය ඉන්නවා නම් මම් මේ කියන දේ අත්විඳලා ඇති. Live Messenger හරි වෙන IM Client කෙනෙක් හරි minimize කරාම් වින්ඩෝස් 7 වල System Tray එකට යන්නේ නෑ. ඒ වෙනුවට ඒක ටාස්ක් බාර් එකේ ඉතුරු වෙනවා. වින්ඩෝස් අනෙක් සංස්කරණ වල නම් minimize වෙන්නේ ටාස්ක් බාර් එකට. කොහොමද මේක වෙනස් කරගන්නේ. මේ ටිකක් ප්රමානයෙන් ලොකු වින්ඩෝස් 7 ටාස්ක් බාර් එක icon වලින් පිරී යන එක ඔයාලාට වදයක් වෙන්න ඇති.
1. First close any running instances of Windows
Live Messenger and then open
Program files-> Windows Live-> Messenger folder
2. Here you can find msnmgsr.exe file. Right click on the file and select properties.
3. In the properties window, select compatibility[FONT="] [/FONT] tab. Tick the check box for Run this program in compatibility mode for under “Compatibility Mode”, and then select Windows Vista from the drop down list.
4. Click OK and now sign in back to Windows Live Messenger. Now if you minimize (or click X) the messenger, it goes to system tray.
Live Messenger and then open
