machan if you need to write a simple application like this ,
you can use the WAP technology.
Every mobil phone has that WAP technology. and use the PHP on the
server side .using WML script is very easy it's like the HTML.
However if you don't implement this on the server side overhead then
you need to use the J2ME , well the easieast way to use the J2ME is
using the netbeans. There is no other way. Yes true there are softwares
like sun wireless toolkit but they are really low level than the netbeans.
Netbeans has a GUI designer. So you can use them. You just only have a
little code for this.
