Well the thing is the plot is good.Bt I hate the protagonist of the story she talks of the problems her family faced, but her family itself is upper class so we dont get a balanced view.So for me it seems like some spoiled rich kid moaning about how backwards her country is.

since it's an auto biography type real story it didn't really bother me..anyway she sounded pretty honest cos she didn't try to make her look like some perfect girl she wasn't and loved the comedic elements ..besides, spoil rich brats can have their opinions on war too right ..anyway she had her options ..but to think of those who didnt..

You have a point but it is not her opinion of war or her life story that bothered me it was her portal of her culture and her clear contempt towards it.Fair enough her family had problems,but in my opinion most of her "problems" arose because she had no appreciation of her own culture and idolised western culture over her own.

she did that at its best but I don't think she was glorifying being into western stuff... it clearly showed her following those just to fall and get hurt .. hers wasn't an official assertion on wut Iran really went thru during that period just a personal view on the subject according to her life style and tastes.. It was just too personal.
