    The HR Guru Prof. Dave Ulrich unleashed secrets of talent with Sri Lanka’s top corporate CEOs and executives. The CEO’s forum titled “Talking Talent” organised by CIMA Sri Lanka Division together with IPM Sri Lanka was held last evening with presence of country’s leading CEOs.The session was started by the welcome address of, President of IPM Lalith Weeratunga followed by the message from, President CIMA Sri Lanka Gowri Shankar. The celebrated Management Educator, key speaker Prof. Dave was introduced to the gathering by, Chairman/MD of Glaxo SmithKline Consumer Healthcare Division. Jayant Singh

    Prof. Dave’s “Talking Talent” session was mainly focused on three basic sub concepts that CEOs should focus in order expect high performance by utilizing human resources and to enhance the human capital in organizations. Prof Ulrich discussed the nature of talent and the competition CEOS face in today’s business because of talent. Further according to the HR Guru Prof. Ulrich the talent formulae implies that the talent is the product of competence, commitment and contribution and he emphasized the CEO’s role and job in the present day corporate world should be to be the connecting medium of the employees and their work.
