It's natural to feel upset, when something like that happen but do everything according to the law.

My advise to you is put the entry and get a lawyer friend of yours to give a couple of calls to the Police station to follow up, as they are known for delaying examining cases. A friend/ relative can do that for you for very cheaply but the results are quite effective as the Police respect lawyers. Mention in your case that you are ready to close the matter, once the respondent return your money and don't deal with them again.

At the same time, I do not advise publicizing your case over the internet like this as the respondent is free until proven guilty and therefore the respondent can file a case against you for defamation saying you are trying to harm the reputation of that company.

This is why, I never buy my stuff unless it's a reputed company.
