I cannot update my AVG 8

My dear elakirians,

I can update my avg 8 nor access the avg website with my web browser which is mozilla firefox 3.

So i did 2 things:
1. Went to the windows firewall and allowed all avg stuff. But still i cudnt access the website.

2. I went to anonymouse website and surfed avg website anonymously and it worked.

However i am still unable to update my avg 8 antivirus.
Help if u can and if time permits.
