1) they never tried to betray the soldiers under them....
2) they have experience running trincomalee and their provinces...
3) keeping them in the parliament shows sri lanka as a tolerant country....where we don't separate ppl by race or that we punish old enemies unnecessarily....
4) They are not greedy for power.....and have enough sense to survive in politics without getting ultimately used and abused....
of course morons like you only see black and white....not the grey in-between.....

If not for the victory of the war. Rajapakshas doesn't have anything to show what they did for the country. And they will have to go home in the election times.
