I need some help

Guys i need some help. I'm working on a project. On the short stories that have been translated into Sinhala within last 30 years. I've got almost all the data i need and i want to get them into some sort of a datra base. So then one can find information at a glance. For example if someone wants to get a list of short stories by a certain author ...of in a certain year.. or of a certain translator.

As i'm don't know much about Computers.... can somebody tell me how to arrange these data.

Just give me an idea because i don't have any idea of my own...

Create Microsoft Access Database....then you can enter the data to it and you can View, Sort, Fin and make report from it.
