I don't have a digital camera - not even in my phone :(

So I'm gonna be a reader more than a writer in this thread. So everyone who owns a decent digi-cam, please post its brand, model, price in SL and where to buy it. Features aren't that important because we can find them in google when you give the model. But if you don't mind, post the features/specifications too.

    Where I'm now
    Some camera stuff i know..

I dont have my own camera, but i do operated quiet a few(bout 20)diff models due to my tasks @ school.Heres what i know.
To take a decent pic u should at least have 3.2 MP.Pls dont buy an VGA camera. Then use your webcam. It's better to have optical zoom 3x or better.Never use digital zoom .Use only u hae nothing left. But in low light neverever use it even manufacturer said that it can do well.
U badly need flash.Thatly help indoors.
neverever buy a camera without that dont have card facility.u'll e sorry if u do that.
Rechargeble AAA battery cameras doesn't hold up long. Its much etter to get a camera with manufacturers own battery and when uying buy an extra battery.U'll adly need that.We always get the need of it.
Dont go to buy a camera with more than 2.0'inch LCD.even that too sucks battery.I think 1.5' is better. Its your choice.
Try the camera before u buy.Whatever others say(including me).U know their r diff flavours 4 every one.
When uying dont even try models lower than 8000/9000 LKR.

    alright to the cameras...
i tried these models in the low-mid price range 12000-25000 the value @ purchase
Kyocera-Slim,Handy,Gets hot,Relatively low battery time,Higher charging rate,Good at darker rainy situations, takes little time to take picturepics doesn't get bad in low battery
panasonic-bit large,Good battery time, cool things, low charging rate, very good @ any situation real colours and optimized, bit prizy, pics doesn't get bad in low battery, less time to take picture
mercury-have AAA batteries & manu atteries,Cool,in low battery photoes sucks, never use a mercury in sunsets or rains, cool colours, normal time to take pics
Sony-Slim.handy,very good battery time, cool colours ,good @ any situation, bit high charging rate, normal time to take pics.prizy.
Canon-Like kyocera but cool.not get hot while zooming the lense
HP-like sony.ut sometimes pics get crapy in low light.colours r normal.
creative-heard of them? they can play MP3,ASF,WMA,voice recording, data storage.takes good pictures.u have 2 have DivX codec for videos 4 etter iewing.Very long battery time, crappy @ night.flash will cut off some not all. Some time to take pics.u have 2 hold it long steadily. If not pics get wavey.
    Kodak-Cannot beat them.fullcharge one time.u can have video(its in MOV format)for bout 2-3 hours without a problem.very user friendly.Best for any.but very pricy.
    Fuji-Like sony.(the features)

all cameras and makers have something special for them.so they make the images differ for each other.U can know out these features from their website.
They have exampales for that feature means they hav 2 pics. One with it,Other without it.thats up to 80% true.Dont go after them.
u can read more @ www.tomshardware.com or www.download.com Type digital cameras then u'll get some handy reiews of camera testing.
Never try to replace a digi with a phone cam. Then try for K800i Or n73,N93 which have Carl Zeiss optics. Its ok to comment (scold me)on my experience
