Ideas on current war situation in Sri Lanka, some support it, some are against it some say its a big lie. Most of those who see ill in war and accuse that the war will go on and a peaceful settlement will not be implemented are people who fled as refugees to other countries because of the war. Unlike Mr. Gotabaya Rajapakse who came here with ending war in mind, others are staying on their new found countries and trying to keep the war going they just want to see the war prevail for their own gain because if it ends soon some might get their place as refugees canceled and their asses will be slammed saying "get the hell back to where you came from, the troubles are there no more"
Sinhalese and Tamils who went abroad forgetting and cursing Sri Lanka fear this they want to stay there and be at the world's supper power's arse.
Tamils in particular are living a freaking role abroad they charged the majority of Sinhalese saying that we dont treat them right and that they need a separate country but they happily do the laundry of the majority of the country that they live in now WTF? i mean when they are here they want things that a single democratic country cant even offer their mouths get filled with shit when they go abroad, same thing happens is seen in Sinhalese too they just spend their time talking about nonsense at government offices and when they migrate ....see who's working I know a civil Engineer in SL migrated and had to do odd jobs when he migrated, his wife had to work at a bakery. And they complain only in SL!! They only protest in SL, in other countries they aren't a minority and they are being treated with care(yeah right)
So why is it? Its just because of the slavery mentality towards westerners our people adore them thats why, sinhalese and tamils theres nothing more to them than migrating to some developed country and working there.
I have this simple question too, why no talk about GAZA? the only media organization that i see talking about GAZA(saying that Israel is bombing civilians) is Al Jazeera, and americans say that its supporting Al Qaida(Q or K? blah who cares) UN is silent on that may be because there are jews on UN lmao israel is a jew country america has jews ...wonder whats with jews..seems like wars follow them or they are following wars(hitler then, Al Qaida, Taliban,..etc now) wonder whats the reason may be...well i dont know jews might be the party attacking ..any ideas on that? if not wars cant be almost everywhere jews are ...no offense just a thought jews are intelligent people and they excel in weaponry. Israel is on the wrong place on the map it should have been near to US. Then the would have lived calm lives.

Your ideas are welcome too

Personally I don't have any trust in the current war. In a sense, I have always rejected the idea that a military solution will solve every conflict.

As we all can see now, LTTE can blend with the civilian population easily. And after a while, they can re-group and attack again. Govt should use war as a weapon to break the power of LTTE. Then there has to be a conditionless negotiation process after they ley down their weapons. That's the simple reason why those cowards don't lay their weapons down.

Govt can rejoice the war is over after capturing the rest of LTTE controlled land. But for how long? Isn't it possible for the LTTE to re-group after a while? Sarath Fonseka will not be the commander forever. Then who will handle the war?

About migrating to other countries...
Well, there are so many reasons for people to migrate. Yes, some may do odd jobs. But they live happily. Simply because of the attitude. Can a person in Sri Lanka do a cleaning job and have a good status of life? But in foreign countries almost everybody do have the same status and almost the same salary. There can be some negative aspects. But those are the trade-offs of having a better life I guess.

thanks for the reply yea some ppl may have better lives im not talking about all migraters only those who freak out when they hear that GOSL is gaining territory ...the unconditional negotiations will be there as the GOSL says but finishing the war will have an clear effect on attitude that might change things
Well he was a civil engineer @ CEB getting something around 50,000rs here about 6 years ago when he went to Canada his degree wasnt taken as a degree to them he failed to find any company that needs some asian brains and just went to odd jobs i dont know what happend to him after that he sold his house in SL about a year ago.. i dont think his life is better there after he understands what is 'life'

If the govt is going forward with a political solution, then that is much better :D Didn't know about that... well, was busy with work so didn't get a chance to listen for news recently :)

Hmmm... well money is not everything in life mate :D
Yes, people should check whether their qualifications are recognised before migrating. That's the 1st mistake he has done.
I have a friend here. another Civil Engineer who was working for Army. He got a job for a salary of $200,000 per year :D (Qualification not recognised. But he got through by his exceptional communication skills.)
Personally I believe it's your competence, and not the qualifications matter... :)

Army people can do marvels man its their thing, even at the battle field SL army engineers(who have lower education levels compared to governments engineers, but they have the army engineering course on their side) build up things so quickly that make normal engineers say "wow, we cant do that ho can they?"
