current domain ( mapping to above blog) - http://XXX.com/
going to change to - http://blog.XXX.com/

means i'm going to change my domain mapping from http://XXX.com/ to http://blog.XXX.com/ (sub domain)

if someone comes to http://XXX.wordpress.com/about/, he will be redirecting to http://XXX.com/about/. i know that.

***** My question is if some some comes to my blog my using a specific url like http://XXX.com/about/, what happens after domain mapping changing (to sub domain).

1. directing to http://blog.XXX.com/about/
2. showing as "Not Found"
3. or directing to http://blog.XXX.com/

domain name not mentioned, named as XXX
