Someone need to put a stop to this black money ...

No business pays tax in this Shit hole....

Everyone who can cheat the general public makes money and in the process not even cut loose their 10% tax..


All the little people are suffering to the neck...yet no end to the import of Cars that fill up the road to a deadlock

It's mostly the AMW crap. Maruti, Alto, etc. They cost about 4 times what it costs back in India, but since that is the least expensive car if you don't want to buy a car that is older than your kid studying for the O/Ls, you have to get a huge ass loan.

The public transport is practically a hell, and neighbors judge you buy the car you own.

Some people get huge ass loans to their maximum limits just to show off and own a vezel and aquas,this is the case with almost 50% of them,Many people have their own assets lands,houses which inherited to them by generations and now liquidizing or renting to huge amounts(As I saw this is the case with many sri lankans).Those who own bmw's and audi's have their private company's or business.Those with defenders and such are ministers and people who are close to them.The majority of remaining are amw cars which you get to own by huge ass loans or bought spending your last cent saved by generations.In sri lanka no matter how big is your house if your vehicle isn't good you are considered poor.

you may have a point dear .but not all correct .
its true our economy fucked up deep as hell and seems to be we are the next nation at the edge of brankruptsy after Greek .

yet i dont think the cars on the road as a result of black money, infact 90% of money was leasing or some kind of credit .

if we consider the vehicals as luxary and economy ,luxary vehical was the main culprit for black money not the economical vehicals .

the main reason to increase those cars on the roads is even more fuckedup public transportation .
if you used this buplic transportation atleast once in your life you know what i mean .

therefor it is more safer comfort and imazingly cheaper to use your own vehical in daily needs .

so if the governmant can give the people better public transportation the cars you will see in the road will reduce .

sadly though this fuckedup government going to distroy this public transportation by selling c.t.b. instead of fixing it

Plus all the Aquas Vezels Fits in the road is because Colombo is an populated city with many entrepreneurs and inheritance by there family. Other cities don't have as many vehicles as Colombo does.
